Fakhruddin Ali Ahmad Teachers' Training College was set up in 1995 by Muslim Ummah Education and Welfare Society, registered under the Society Registration Act, 1860. The Society has been working as a charitable organisation on various aspects of social, educational, economic, moral and cultural development and welfare of communities all around, with the development of the Muslim Minority Community in particular.
Guided by its foundational objectives, the Society committed itself to the advancement and delivery of quality education. Achieving this excellence requires skilled, well-prepared educators. The management — comprising seasoned educationists, respected community figures and individuals of high integrity — believes that an educational institution should be an avenue of growth for teachers as well as students, granting each the freedom to develop fully.
The primary duty of a teacher is to guide students to self-discovery and unlock their true potential. The management of Muslim Ummah Education and Welfare Society took on the task of producing skilled teachers and establishing an institutional ecosystem where academic excellence and lifelong learning are promoted.
As a self-financed Muslim minority institution, the College is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, modern instructional facilities and a distinguished faculty of highly qualified, experienced members — fostering an academic environment that inspires pride and excellence.
The College is affiliated to Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga and recognised by the ERC, NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education), Bhubaneswar, and BSEB, Patna.
