The bedrock of our republic is secularism, Secularism does not mean absence of religious faith, it means equal reverence for all religions. We in India are trying to evolve a national ethos out of a multiracial, multi religious and multilingual society. In this great effort for national unity and emotional integration, the message qf love and tolerance preached by all religions is ofvital significance.
